The Pedagogic Council of Maple Bear in Brazil is formed by renowned professionals whose goal is to discuss issues relating to the national curriculum and the training of professionals in the Maple Bear units.
Professor Doutor Lino de Macedo – USP
- Professor of the graduate program in School Psychology and Human Development at the University of São Paulo.
- Coordinator of the Psychopedagogy Laboratory (LaPp-USP).
- Co-creator of ENEM.
Professor Doutor José Luiz Dias Gherpelli – USP
- Professor in Child Neurology at the Faculty of Medicine, University of São Paulo.
- President of the Pediatric Neurology Department in the Brazilian Society of Pediatrics.
Virginia Balau
- Pedagogue, Master in Educational Psychology graduated at PUC-SP.
- Educational psychologist, specialist in the development of reading and writing.
- Coordinator of the Department of Portuguese Language Maple Bear.
Ciro de Figueiredo
- President of ANE (“Associação A Natureza do Ensino”).
- General Director of Colégio Friburgo and Instituto Educacional Jean Piaget.
- Graduated in Philosophy with postgraduate degree in Communication.
- He dedicates himself to the study of psychoanalysis, education and teaching methodologies.
Prof. Doutor Francisco Gomes de Matos
- Chairman of Brazil America Association (Conselho Associação Brasil América), which maintains Maple Bear Recife.
- Graduated in Arts and Law from the University of Pernambuco. Graduated in linguistics from the University of Michigan and PUC-SP.
- Professor Emeritus, Federal University of Pernambuco.
- Visiting Professor at the Universities of Texas (Austin), Mexico, Ottawa, and Georgia (Athens, USA).
- He wrote numerous books, articles, papers and poems on Peace Linguistics, Creativity in English Language Teaching and Human Rights.

Richard Debre
- Educational Director of Maple Bear Mogi das Cruzes.
- Educator with University Extension in Language Acquisition and Bilingualism at PUC SP.
Yara Tandel
- Educational Director of Maple Bear Niterói;
- Post graduate degree in Education, Post Graduate in Psychomotricity; Family Therapy specialist.
- She was a member of the Association of Dyslexia and a researcher at the Laboratory of Neurocognition at UNIFESP where she deepened her Language Development studies. She has extensive experience in education and clinical care.
