Having a small number of students per class and very well prepared teachers, children enjoy learning. At Maple Bear, your child receives attention and affection at all times and feels joy in coming to school.
Classes
Maple Bear Early Childhood Education offers classes organized by age. Our groups are formed with children who have birthdays until June 30 of each year:
- Toddler: 2 year old students
- Nursery: 3 year old students
- Junior Kindergarten: 4 year old students
- Intermediate Kindergarten: 5 year old students (early literacy)
Educational Program
When children go to school, they see learning as a pleasant experience and are naturally inclined and excited by it. It is important that an early childhood education program can build and strengthen this positive attitude by offering varied, stimulating and enjoyable experiences.
The knowledge and skills that children acquire at the end of Kindergarten, along with positive attitudes towards learning that children develop in these early years, form the basis of effective learning in the following school years.
English immersion environment
In childhood education, we have an English immersion environment. Your child naturally acquires language fluency in everyday school English. For a child, there is no mystery in learning how to speak two different languages, Portuguese with the family and English at school. A child’s mind is ready to learn different languages and structures, and the sooner the brain is stimulated, the more it enriches the language area.
At the age of five, the student starts having Portuguese activities and develops reading and writing abilities. It’s the beginning of Portuguese literacy.
